A Cleverbug Re-Brand
At Cleverbug, we are always looking for ways to improve and take customer feedback very seriously. We heard you loud and clear when you said you love our app, but don’t quite love our name – and so, we made a decision.
“Cleverbug” is becoming “CleverCards” – the smartest way to send greeting cards!
Now isn’t that clever… Stay tuned to see the change coming soon. We’ll have a new logo, app icon and whole new website and app user interface design. We think you’ll love the sleek new look and next week we’ll be previewing some of the new visuals and artwork.
Customer of the Week
This week our chosen customer is the ultimate Cleverbug advocate! Her name is Kristin Oxford from Georgia. Kristin has sent 16 printed cards to her friends and family since she started using Cleverbug in February 2013! Here’s what she has to say:
Cleverbug Customer of the Week – Kristin Oxford, GA – USA
Meet the Cleverbugs: Say Hello to Simone!
Cleverbug’s Newest Team Member – Simone Crowley
We’ve just had a brand new ‘Clever Clogs’ join the Cleverbug creative team – she’s our new Lead Graphic Designer, Simone Crowley. We’re super excited to have Simone on board with us and we also hope you love all the new CleverCards that she will be adding to the store! So you can get to know Simone a little better, we’ve thrown some questions her way..
Where are you from?
Dalkey, Co Dublin. Ireland.
What do you do and what is your role at Cleverbug?
My role is Senior Graphic Design Team Lead. My team and I design the cards that are available in the store. We research new trends and are constantly coming up with new ideas to keep everything fresh.
Who or what is your inspiration?
I have a huge collection of design, illustration and animation books where I get inspiration from. There is such a massive amount of creative talent online these days that I read a lot of design blogs too. I studied animation so I have always loved Mary Blair’s style of concept work. I also collect kids’ picture books as the illustrations are fantastic.
What is your favourite food?
Can you tell us an interesting fact about yourself? (hidden talent, strange habits etc. etc.)
I’m learning to knit in my spare time, so far I have done a lot of scarves! Plus a tea cozy for my dad in his team colours 😀
Are you funny… of course you are! Tell us a joke?
Q. What do you call a man with a seagull on his head?
If you were an animal, what would you be and why?
My cat Edward, simply because he has the best life ever!
What do you enjoy most about Cleverbug?
I’m so lucky to have a job where I am creatively challenged all day long! It’s wonderful we can design cards for so many different occasions. It’s a such a great feeling when you receive a card in the post, I like to place them on my mantel piece and keep them there as a memento. I love to imagine that around the world people are doing this with the cards that I have created!
We hope you enjoyed finding out a little more about our people this week!
Until next week – keep smiling and sharing sharing with us your cards and stories of your special occasions!
